International Women's Day is Wednesday, March 8th and celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity and positive change advancing women.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. That's the world we want for our family.

We're full of appreciation for the incredible women at Bloomfields, and the women who got them here. The gratitude we have for our mother's, sisters, and each other is beyond measure and without question. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Among the many actions this week, we suggest the gift of flowers to show your appreciation for the women in your life. We have gorgeoous selection in the flower shop of seasonal blooms, and are designing beautiful bouquets for pickup and delivery across Ottawa.

Make International Women's Day your day, and do what you can to truly make a positive difference for women.
