Did you know that the New Art Festival is taking place this weekend? The New Art Festival is Ottawa’s longest-running outdoor art exhibit which takes place at Central Park in the Glebe. The festival is a community-oriented event for emerging and established professional artists to promote their studio practices and to network directly with the public and their colleagues. It is a wonderful event and we are inspired to extend this vibe to our shops. Flowers and art are a perfect union.
At Bloomfields, we are thrilled to feature stunning paintings by two of our favourite local artists, Christopher Griffin (Glebe only) and Andrea Stokes (both locations). These gorgeous works are surrounded by lush bouquets and vases filled with magnificent farm blooms and our new shipment of incredible plants.
