Bring on the Winter Season... Nov 15, 2018

Dear BFF 

Looking back, one of my favourite things to do in November, was to walk around my old Toronto neighbourhood admiring the splendour of each homes’ outdoor winter decor.  From simple touches like wintergreen wreaths hung on doors to stunning urn arrangements, swags, garlands, and lights...each home was an inspiration and left me imagining the beauty, warmth, and hospitality to be found indoors.  These early weeks of November provide the perfect opportunity to begin your very own decorating for the upcoming holiday.  At Bloomfields, we have embraced the season and both shops are stocked with everything you will need to begin the cheer, both inside and out. 

Wreaths
A gorgeous wreath hung on your front door is an easy way to warm any entrance and a beautiful selection of wreaths is now available at both our shops.  Whether you prefer something full and lush or whimsical and unpredictable, come and select a design just for you.  

Outdoor Urn Selections
It smells like a forest at our shops right now!  The scent of fresh pine and cedar has put us in the decorating spirit and we are ready to share it.  Our DIY urn kits provide you with everything you will need to fill your own containers.  Alternatively, a great selection of bunches of wintergreens, branches, berries and accents is also available if you prefer to create your own custom design.  Too pressed for time to design your own?  Come and select, or order online, from one of three styles in the  ‘Ready-To-Go’ urn inserts that just drop into your containers. 

Urn Design Demonstration - Sunday, November 18th
Drop by our 1280 Wellington west location to learn how to design your own outdoor winter urn arrangement.  The demonstration will take place between 4-4:30.  Bring a friend, learn something new and have some fun.

Pay It Forward
Bloomfields is proud to be taking part in the second annual PAY IT FORWARD event in support of helping women in need in our community this holiday season.  To take part, simply pick up a PAY IT FORWARD tote bag from one of our shops between November 12th - 27th, fill it with gifts to delight women in need and then return it to our shop anytime up until November 27th.  All donations will be given to CORNERSTONE HOUSING FOR WOMEN & CALDWELL FAMILY CENTRE.  Help us spread some cheer and joy this holiday.
